Chieftess, welcome back and sorry it's so warm out there. We took a boat trip around some of the light houses yesterday and nearly froze to death. Three layers and light gloves. You'd think we were from California.
Really nice, Doug!! Rocks are often difficult to make look ... well .. like rocks. You did.. and created an interesting composition / painting as well.

These images remind me of the north shore of Lake Superior her in MN. I may need to head north soon!
Very good Doug. I like the textural contrast between ground and sky. Also, my kind of composition.
Love this one...makes me feel like getting a sweater and walking out on those rocks...especially because here it's been in the 90's!!!
