Hi Roger, You have nothing to fear about making an honest and straight forward comment to me. That is what I requested and you were honest enough to reply with the truth. That particular painting will go in the flat file to be found about 10 years from now.

Again...love the colors!!! It definitely rings of Sedona!!! As a matter of fact...it does a good job of capturing the essence of "Red Rock Fever" which infected me the first time I went there...got home and started searching for jobs there...never did make the move, but have been back and plan to go back many more times!!
I really love way you have captured this. When examining the painting up close it looks like a jumble of abstract and random notes but taking a step back it all comes together to capture the rock, the line of the land and the energy of that place. That's the magic of painting isn't it? I've been to Sedona, didn't paint, but think I need to go back and do so. It is a very magical place.
Thanks Chieftess, Last time I was there about half the people I talked to that had little shops were all visitors at some point and just never went home. The colors are a real eye opener for this midwestern boy. Basically went around with my mouth open. Hey, is it cocktail time again?
