Time for Reflection

As the fire in the sky races to the sunset
I'm left to ponder the end of one journey
and the beginning of another.  It's been great
but it's time to move on.  There are sights
in Utah yet to see, but home beckons us
to start heading towards Michigan and
family.  It's a bunch of miles but as
with all journeys the reward at the
end is always worth while.

Thanks for hangin with me for the last two
months and if time allows I'll send off some
pic's from Utah so you can join in our
travels.  Stay well everyone and remember,
paint and draw with Passion!

Gorgeous sunset!!! Love the gold at the bottom of the sunset!
(I've got a similar one in my archives shot from our deck...more trees, no gold light, similar colors)

Hey,
Well, there's another reason your shot
Is different, you own a deck and mine was only
Rented. How are things in mammoth?
Good to hear from you.

No ownership here either DD...we're renting for now!!! Mammoth has had over 600 inches of snow this season!!! But this week is expected to be warm, warm, warm!!! Let the snow melt begin!!!

Take care Doug on your travels home. It sounds as though you are covering a lot of ground so plenty of inspiration for paintings when you return to the ranch. If you are refering to Mammoth the High Sierra(?) Angela and I visited there a few years back on our travels by hire car from San Francisco to the Grand Canyon. Loved the whole journey but Mammoth at the time of our visit was cold and windy. Spectacular country though. Regards to you and all.
