First on the Scene

As you can see by the paper
texture that this is a very small
piece. However, it is a piece
so lets go with that. This was
going no where until I hit it
2 or 3 times with the
spray bottle. I suppose you
could call it an accident, I call
it the right set of circumstances.

Way to go with the circumstances!
Looks like a walk on the beach on a misty day. I really like him.
This one may be very small but at least it is a painting. I seem to be only capable of staring and thinking these days. Even my old standards are not calling out to me with inspiration.
At least I'm thinking....

Thanks Deb,

Listen, don't let the perceived need to paint cause you stress and disappointment. Life is filled with pressure and work can add it's wonderful weight right on top of all that. Sometimes it's more important to just stare, take a deep breath and rest your mind. The desire and passion for painting will return when you're ready. You don't need the added pressure of feeling you have to paint. You're a wonderful artist and painter, you don't need to prove that everyday. We already know you are!

Hi Suzanne,

It's always a relief when something finally works.
Thanks!

Hi Laurie,

It's kind of like one of those moments when you say that was lucky ... or "you know that's the way I planned it". Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Heeeeeehe

Thanks for coming by,

Nothing to do but go with the flow...

Half the battle is to recognize when an "accident" happens and that it is good and to STOP. Stand back and say....oooooh! you did it!
