If you come to a fork in the road...

This follows my previous post which was the beginning of
some grapevines and foliage. In the beginning it had already
turned to a more interpretive approach to the unknown at that
point. Now here it is at it's current stage. Finished? I don't know,
but definitely done for now.

Time out for medical leave. I'll be back in late February to determine
if I took the right fork in the road, so you've got plenty of time to
leave your honest opinions. In a few weeks I'll catch up with you and
see the footprints you've left behind. So for now ...Shaka
(means "hang loose" in Hawaii)

I say it's done doug. It's stunning and I love it. I don't have the words as to why, but it "speaks a my language!" beautiful.

my word verification is madogi - mad doggie? Mad Dog Daniels - I like it!

Love you comments! This one made me
chuckle out load. Glad you like the work.
Now that the pot is boiling I've got to turn the
heat off and stop for the arm surgery.
I wish I could start another one right now,
just hurts to much.

Thanks Deb, you've always been great!
Until later, Mad Dog signing off.

I wish I could read your comment
but the oriental alphabet is impossible
for me.

I (we) will really miss you as you leave for your surgery. Make the best of this time. Get yourself a great selection of the art books you have been wanting to read to have bedside at all times. Maybe order a few good ones from Amazon and then stock up on many from the public library. While your shoulder is healing you head can be swirling in paintings and writings.
Post when you can just to give us an update on your progress.
Take care, b

Thanks Loriann,

I will miss you (all of you friends) oh so much.
Painting is just starting to come back to me and
the excitement is coming back, now this.

I plan on doing some reading and studying if the
pain is tolerable. I know Sam says to get off the pain meds as soon as possible. I've learned over the years what the side effects are and controlling the pain is far more important.

Just know that I will come and take a look once in a while just to see what's going on. I'm sure that Mary will type some comments for me when I'm thinking straight. For now, be well and keep a smile going for all of us.

One arm hug headed your way.
pb.

I think this painting is incredible, lemme see if I can articulate why.

It is intricately layered in such a way that it has many points of interest to contemplate. It's almost nonrepresentational except for the forms you've created can be named, yet the painting calls immediately to the imagination to look and wonder.

fineartist,

Thanks for your supportive comments and perception.
You know I visited your blog some time ago ... I think you were recovering from a back surgery. I knew I recognized your face and smile.

Thanks so much for visiting, nice to see you.
