You do make it look like it's so easy. It'll probably take me years of practice before i can free sketch something like this one!

Good Morning Silver,
With the proper instruction I'm sure
you could do this. Your style might be
different and your interpretation of the
human figure will be different. You can learn to
sketch like this. Love your visits.

These 2 to 5 minute poses are my favorite. I think the results can be exciting with lots of energy. They're far from perfect as to proportions and relation ship. That's the challenge, to get as much information drawn in a short period of time.

Thanks again Deb, how's your psyche doing today?
Hang in there and keep smiling.

It's all about line, direction, weight and volume and Doug, you have certainly captured the essentials in this quick study. The left shoulder, biceps and fore arm are SUPERB but I'm not sure that the angle of the left leg below the knee looks natural, pointing as it does away from the line of the spine.

um, lets see ... he's got a broken leg, he's double jointed, he's extremely bow legged.

I agree, it is definitely not headed in the correct direction. I saw it as I was finishing and he was on his way to the next pose, so I just flipped the sheet and forgot about it. Sometimes I can't see the forest for the tree's. I could say, it's not about accuracy but the joy of drawing.

Thanks for stopping by Roger.
